Hi! My name is Dianica

As a licensed clinical social worker, I have provided mental health services in hospitals, government agencies, and community mental health. My approach is client-centered and collaborative in efforts to assist my clients overcome their challenges. I believe it is important to highlight client’s determination in strength to effectively address and overcome barriers. I use a combination of treatment modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, person centered therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy. It is crucial to note that my goal is to support my clients in their healing journey while also encouraging and empowering them to use their voice.

Additionally, I have experience assisting clients navigate a complex healthcare
system and access community resources. I also have conducted numerous biopsychosocial
assessments for prospective kidney transplant candidates, parents, and children. Furthermore, I
have co-facilitated monthly support groups for kidney transplant patients as well as a Spanish
speaking parenting groups to enhance their distress tolerance and practice mindfulness and
emotional regulation.
