Jennifer is a Los Angeles Native, bilingual, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist currently residing in San Diego, California. Jennifer is devoted to providing a safe place for individuals seeking to grow in their healing journeys. She practices through a trauma informed lens in hopes to foster and nurture self-compassion and empowerment with her clients.
Jennifer is also currently the Clinical Director of Residential Services for Mental Health Center of San Diego, currently working with adults 18+. Her professional experiences have led her to work with children in foster care, teens, working professionals, and older adults. Jennifer prides herself in being the daughter of immigrants and advocates for underrepresented communities. She has dedicated her career to working with children, families, and individuals struggling with mental health challenges and educating families about how to support their loved ones. Jennifer was drawn to the field of psychology because of her hopes to guide people through their path to healing. She believes in the power of change and resiliency. Jennifer is passionate about developing community projects that shed light on mental health stigma and empower communities; she dreams of one day developing her own mental health program.
When she is not working with patients, Jennifer enjoys time with family, traveling, being outdoors, and volunteering.
