Marital/Couples therapy is a form of psychotherapy/therapy that focuses on improving the relationship between two individuals (otherwise known as a dyad).
This dyadic (*an interaction between two individuals) work isn't just for for serious partners before (pre-marital) and/or during marriage, but can also be beneficial for friends, business partner, etc.
Couples therapy is collaborative process between therapist and dyad where the therapist guides the dyad gain a deeper understanding of their relationship’s dynamic, and identify and implementing strategies to promote a healthy relationship. With effort, vulnerability, and commitment from our clients, our therapist(s) support couples through a cultural sensitive and an eclectic approach of techniques and strategies from Gottman, emotionally focused therapy (EFT), and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).
